Why Write?

For the past 8 years I've been a stay at home mom. I've tried a lot of crafts looking for a creative outlet. I was born into a family of readers, so I've never known a time that I wasn't reading or writing. During the years of raising my son, I've pulled out quite a few pencils and notebooks to write down stories to entertain or clear my mind.

I'm currently writing between 3 genres:
Short Story Chapter books for elementary aged kids
Young Adult Fantasy and
Flash Fiction.
For my younger audiences, I like my short stories to give elementary school aged kids confidence, empathy and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
For my older YA audiences, I like to empower, inspire and entertain them all while creating a world populated with fictional friends who live their lives before the reader's eyes.
For my flash fiction audiences I like to tell good stand alone stories that only take a few minutes to read and fill those tiny pockets of boredom that can pop up in every day life.
Whether it's helping to develop reading rituals, build a family library or engage a reluctant reader. I plan to relieve any reading fears and deliver invaluable information for you or your family's reading journey.
I welcome you to the amazing life of reading.
